I have never ever ever ever walk for a long period of time before.
Ahh now my kaki sakit lah. Feeling like want to drop like that. -__- Haha.

Yesterday, i told my mum im going to the zoo today. And she didnt believe me. Hahs.

Anyway, I went to Singapore Zoo today. Lols.
Hmm.. I went with my Damaians and the MDAS people.
MDAS=Muscula Dystrophy Association of Singapore. A Muscular Dystrophy person, their muscles are just to weak thus they couldnt walk or hold things like normal people do. Get it? Thus they will be in a wheelchair thus a helper needed to assist them.

Im an N.E member thats how Chang Xiang asked me whether i wanna go to the Zoo that day. So i agreed to go.
Moving on, my school those who are going to the zoo, our task are to assist the MDAS people. Meaning we go there to assists them, make friends and make their day enjoyable. As well as having fun also.

Alright I'll get the point now. Hmm there were about 24(plus) Damaians who went to the zoo. Its not alot lah. Anyway, we have to split into 3 groups.
My group consist of me, Shayne, Fahana(we're the sec 3s) and Eunice, Li Ting, Johann, Faizal and Zul(they're sec 2s).
Then each groups are assigned to a certain number of MDAS people.
My group have 7 MDAS people.

Dum di dum di dum.
Today is like the first time, i read a map and follow the directions of the map.
As well as assisting people to follow me for which im responsible to where we are.

Okiee okiee. Shayne is actually the leader of our group. But i guess, we didnt really decide whose the leader lah. Its just like that.
Anyway, my group there was this MDAS person named Haslina, she's on a wheelchair and need a person to move around. So Shayne had to push her lah. That makes her unable to kinda like guide us. So leaving me who is capable of guiding/managing my group.

Mostly, all throughout the time we've been there, ive been holding the zoo map. -__- Haha.
Then when i dont know where we are, i asked a person where we are.
Got a few or many times, I asked Johann and those two boys Zul and Faizal where we are sey. Then two times i asked the Zoo Staff.
Its embarrassing tau, because im a Core Geography student and i ought to know how to read a map =__="

The boys, those three, are a great help. Though they are really cheeky and playful. Lols. I mean their perangai like budak kecil still wanna play. Anyway, i did tell them to jaga Kumar(this MDAS guy) cause he's kinda lonely. Thus, they did a great job taking care of him. I can see that, that Kumar had a great time with them. Serious. Yeah.. and Kumar he is also playful. No wonder these 4 get along so well. HAHA. :D

During lunch time, group 1(my group) and group 3(Yan Xi's group) were at Garden Pavilion-a place where we decide to gather for lunch.
There were no group 2, because group 2 which is Chang Xiang's group was at Pavilion by The Lake. There were miscommunication.
What i heard was, Yan Xi(she's N.E's president) fight with Chang Xiang on the place to meet-Garden Pavillion. Chang Xiang says that Garden Pavilion the slope is very steep and may be hard for the MDAS people in wheelchair to go down. While Yan Xi retort that saying its not. I dont know about Pavilion by The Lake's slope, but to me Garden Pavilion is fine.
And with the wheelchair people already gathered at Pavilion by The Lake, you cant expect them to go down that place and go to Garden Pavilion going up the slope again. So that was why Group 2 stayed there and eat there. Hmm..
Anyway, when i saw Chang Xiang, i forgot who was there, i know that i was there, we talk about the wrong place lah. Then Chang Xiang when remembering about this.. He was looking so stressed up. Then both his hands were on his head and then he shake his head moving from left to right. Get it?
Hahs. They, my N.E members... They had once said that Chang Xiang is always a problem. Hees. See the outcome? Lols. Nahh... i dont judge Chang Xiang lah. For me im like, Apa sey dia, ini taknak dengar Yan Xi's punya arahan kenapa? Tulah. Hehhs. Im neutral about him okiee.

Anyway, at Garden Pavilion, the MDAS people couldnt drink the can of Pepsi. Cause their hand isnt strong enough to hold the can. They need a straw, but sadly, there weren't any straws. Like i said, their muscles are very weak.
And if you're wondering how they move about in wheelchair? Well, they move around with their automated wheelchair machine. You know.. The wheelchair which have a control whereby its like a car, you turn left, right, up or down for the direction you want to go to. Hees. (:

Hmm... There was this one guy whose name is Rafi, in my group who suffers from MS-short form for Muscular Dystrophy.
Well, the first time i saw him.. I was thinking to myself.. "Ehh he's cute" lols. :D
Rafi hmm.. he looks, well.. i dont wanna talk on how his face looks like right now.. anyway his leg are thin, i guess that was why he have to be on a wheelchair, his leg cold not support him.
So when we're walking around, i treat him.. like saying.. "Are you okiee? Can you see the crocodile?". I was being helpful to him lah!
Then this Edwin also i treat him.. saying.. "You dont want to see the monkey?" Then he said "No...". I was just being helpful to these two okiee.

Anyway, when going back home time, when we were at the gift shop at the end of our journey, i walk with Rafi. Cause i wanna show Rafi this place where if you go inside then you'll see some things. Its like.. this place whereby if you're wearing colour white shirt then your white shirt will light up and looks blue. A place whereby things glow.

So while i walk beside him, i asked him a question "Hey, Rafi.. Hmm.. Whats your age uh?".
And he replied.. "Twenty Four". -___-"
Hehs. Then i say.. "Hmm okiee."

Why am i writing about these? Rafi and Edwin, i mean. I shall tell you my reason..
When i thought back... I was thinking.. Hey.. Do i treat them like small kid? -.^ Cause i think i talk to them like uhh.. hmm.. like talking to a child like that. Ahhh.
-Well im kinda uhh embarrased x_x.
Cause maybe i do treat them like small kids. With the way i talk and maybe kinda assisted them.
I sooo paisey lah! *roll eyes*.

Well.. at there, i didnt really realized that there were adults there too. Since i see mostly are childrens. Well.. there is Haslina whose age is 26, still i dont really realized that those two are wayyy older than me. =__= I did not think properly. Haha.

In general, going to the zoo with all of them was great. Really.
Widened my horizon on certain perspective and exploring my inner potential. Hehhs. ((;

Okiee, here's some lesson ive learnt about today:
Number 1: I learnt how to read maps. -Yupp, sure i did! *grins*
Number 2: Explore my potentials. In being able to manage things and being a leader. -Hahs.
Number 3: Muscular Dystrophy their muscles are really weak and so next time when we bring them out again we should brought plenty of straws for them so that they can drink the can/botle of drinks. -Hehe. Should remember this.
And the last things which i learnt today is...
Number 4: LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING. -Haha. A great lesson indeed.
I thought Rafi was around my age, somewhere around there. And then Bamm! I found out he's 9 years older than my age. Hahaha.
So much for thinking that he was like me. =.="

Aiyoooo.. PAISEY LAH! Haha. :D

By the way, we reached the Zoo around 10.30am today.
Around 11am like that, we started our journey. And we ended our journey around 5.30pm reaching 6pm-well somewhere there. (;
So in the end, ive walked around 6 to 7 hours. Now thats a record!
Im missing sitting down. HAHA. ((:

Also when we went home, me and my Damaians friends went home together.
Anyway while we were on the MRT, a few of us around 9 peeps were sitting down on the floor of the train. -_-
But i didnt sit down with them. Haha. Cause later no space for peole to to stand. Haha.
Then they all while sitting down and 4 of us standing, we tell stories and make jokes.
There were a lot of laughters and smiling.
Honestly, at one point in time, i was smiling so much that my cheeks hurt! Haha :D

And ohh, Yan Xi was being really nice to me. I mean because in the group during that time at the train, there were 2 Malay whom is me and Fahana. So sometimes the group talk in Chinese. And of course we Malays dont understand what they're saying. So Yan Xi help to translate and tell the others to speak in English. Hehs.
Also when i look back at Yan Xi, i really appreciate her help. I find that she doesnt want any of us including me to feel left out. So thats nice. Hehe. ((:
-and i wasnt feeling left out. Hehs. Though im kinda a bit quiet around them still i join in the laughters. Lols.

Anyway, i should be stopping at Eunos MRT but then i stop at Tampines.
As i wanted to buy FAMOUS AMOS COOKIES. (;
For my brother. Haha. Its his birthday today, 28 Nov. Lols.
Yea.. I bought one for me too. (:

I forgot to mentioned about the gift shop at the zoo.
Alright so in the gift shop, there were a lot of stuff animals. There were white tiger, polar bears etc.
Anyway while i was there, the stuff animals was really cute and felt nice to touch.
I especially like the white tiger. Its pretty cute and the its eyes are BLUE in colour. Awesome!
And that time, i was wishing if only i could have it. Haha.
But nahh.. I didnt buy it. Cause i dont think its worth my money to splurge on stuff animal toys and i dont really need it. Hehhs. (:
